Orders are where your shop turns into money. If you track them well, customers get what they paid for and you always know what is waiting. This guide walks through the Orders page step by step.

What you see on the Orders page

Every order has a number like #ORD-00012, a date, the customer, the total, and three things to keep track of:

At the top right, a Waiting counter shows how many orders are still Preparing or Ready, so you can see at a glance how much work is open.

The four statuses

StatusWhat it means
PreparingYou have the order and are getting it ready
ReadyIt is packed. Waiting for pickup or for the courier
CompletedThe customer has received it
CancelledThe order will not go ahead

A simple habit: move an order forward the moment something changes. If you wait until the end of the day, it is easy to forget which orders are done.

Paid and unpaid

ZayWalMal does not take payment for you. Customers pay you directly, so the Paid or Unpaid mark is your record of whether you have received the money. Only mark an order Paid after you have seen the money in your own wallet or bank app. Our guide on getting paid from your online shop explains the full routine.

Pickup or delivery

Each order is marked Pickup or Delivery. You can switch it if the customer changes their mind. For delivery orders, check that the order has a phone number and an address before you send anything. The order screen warns you when a delivery order has no address.

Open an order to see the details

Click or tap an order to see:

Every time you change a status, payment mark or type, the app asks you to confirm. That small step stops accidental taps from changing the wrong order.

Find orders quickly

Use the filters to answer practical questions, like "What do I still need to pack today?" or "Which orders last week are still unpaid?"

Export to CSV

The CSV button downloads the orders you are currently looking at, including customer names and phone numbers. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets to keep your own records or share them with an accountant. Because the export follows your filters, you can filter to one month first and then download.

A daily routine that takes ten minutes

  1. Open Orders and look at Preparing. Pack what you can.
  2. Message customers whose orders are Ready.
  3. Mark delivered or collected orders Completed.
  4. Filter Completed and check for any that are still Unpaid.
  5. Cancel orders where the customer has not replied after the time you promised them.

Completed orders feed your Sales page, so finishing them properly also keeps your numbers accurate. Read how to understand your daily sales to see how.
